With The 60Beats

Swing to the sounds of The 60Beats in the Market Square to celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee on Saturday evening, 2nd June. It's a family occasion, all are welcome and it's FREE. The 60Beats play predominantely 60s music - Beatles, Rolling Stones, Kinks etc

The sixties were swinging and we aim to replicate the good feelings of that decade listening, dancing and singing along to the sounds of The 60Beats. They will be dressed in true sixties style and we're asking you to do the same. There will be prizes for the best 60's outfits! But don't panic, if you don't want to dress for the decade you'll be more than welcome just coming along as you are!

Refreshments will be available from The Kings Arms; The Giggly Pig and The Sweet Shop so there's no need to be hungry or thirsty. And let's face it, after all that dancing and fun you will need to be refreshed. Some tables and chairs will be provided.
