Six new seats have been placed in Market Place, two new benches in Swan Meadow Coach Park and one new bench on Common Hill. These were funded by grants from Action for Market Towns and co-ordinated by the Saffron Walden Initiative. They were selected by local architect, John Ready, and installed in Autumn 2007 by the Town Council.
